GORO NICKLE This open cast mine is situated in the south of New Caledonia’s main island, locally known as the “Grande Terre”. GORO claims one of the highest nickel contents in the world. Contracting for GORO and worth $2million, CMG has supplied its popular “PPA” and “SGA” electric motors.
COMALCO
As one of the largest international aluminium producers and now part of Rio Tinto, COMALCO supplies the world markets with bauxite, alumina and primary aluminium. CMG has supplied COMALCO with $3million worth of VACON variable speed drives to increase its production and energy efficiency.
RIO TINTO
CMG has recently supplied RIO TINTO with $500,000 worth of “PPA” and “PPC” electric motors for its general mining applications.
NCIG
The Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group produces significant amounts of coal through its member companies such as BHP Billiton, Centennial Coal, Donaldson Coal, Peabody Energy, Felix Resources and Whitehaven Coal. CMG has recently supplied the NGIC with $500,000 worth of “PPA” electric motors.
COLIBAN WATER
As one of the largest Victorian Regional urban water authorities, COLIBAN WATER supplies and manages 20% of Victoria’s water supply. CMG has supplied $400,000 worth of “NXS” VACON Drives to this leading authority.top
